    Acapulka
Sleds Alex at Acapulka is producing the best sleds in the world. The North Pole sled (developed together with the polar legend Borge Ousland) is made by 9 layers of Kevlar and take an amazing amount of beating. Each sled is custom made in Germany. The South Pole sled is ultra light with low sides not to overturn in the wind and sastrugis typical for Antarctica. The North Pole sled floats and are more shaped like a torpedo to screw it's way through the pack-ice. Allow three month for delivery. (Norwegian, English, German)

Sjur Mordre and the guys at Hvitserk have the best info (and supply) for specific equipment like shoes and skies. Sjur took part in developing the famous Alfa Mordre Extreme shoe, based on a concept dating back to Amundsen. Hvitserk can help you to get the right Asnes skies (used by almost all North Pole skiers) and bindings. A trip to Norway is well worth the money for a serious expedition team.

    Brynje
Underwear Polar expeditions is all about hard work. Skip the fancy stuff and go with what works. The netting merino wool (man-made fibers added for strenght) might look everything but sexy, but it does the job better than anything else. A double layer of Brynje and a wind-jacket is enough for temps down to -40F/C.

    Ullfrotte
Underwear Ullfrotte is our second polar underwear choice. Ullfrotte is slightly less effective but nicer to wear than Brynje. Also made from high quality Australian merino wool with some man-made fibers added.
