April 2, 2003 - The latest update came in from Mike Horn on his Arktos Adventure. Finally he made it to the village of Gjoa Haven where his family was waiting to greet him. The days before reaching the actual village Mike could see the village lights pushing him forward even though it at times felt as if he would never get there. Nose a bit freezing
To be met by his children after six months naturally felt wonderful to
Mike, friendly company is always welcome. His nose did get a bit of
freezing so it's a bit black at the end. A few days in the warmth will
probably fix it up again. When fully rested Mike will be off again heading
for the next village, Cambridge Bay. | |||||
