North West Passage Expedition

March 27, 2003 - The two Norweigian explorers; Bengt Egil Rotmo and Randulf Valle reports in from their voyage along the classic North West Passage. Everything is fine with them and are now about 250km away from Cambride Bay but it is not always possible to follow a straight course. They have also to done some ski-sailing which have worked out very well.

A great time on the ice

The weather has been both good and bad over the last week ranging from sunshine to whiteout and temperatures between minus 16C and minus 32C. They are having a great time and managed 13 km yesterday. There is a light cover of snow on the ice and tomorrow they aim even higher and will try to get an early start.
