Transpatagonia ice cap controversy
09:27 a.m. EDT Oct 26, 2003
A debate has emerged regarding Borge's and Thomas recent Transpatagonia ice cap crossing. Apparently, the team exited the ice cap at the Tyndall and before the Balmaceda glacier.

-"Too early exit," says Pablo and his Chilean Transpatagonia pioneer team.

-"The South Patagonian ice cap ends there," replies Borge.

Both parties have mailed their versions of the route and ThePoles.com will publish their maps and inputs from both teams as soon as all facts are collected, hopefully next week.
